Microsoft is allowing Xbox 360 owners with an active Xbox Live Gold account to reserve 10 Games With Gold titles for Xbox One between now and the end of 2015 according to the announcement via Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb.
This means that any Xbox 360 owner that hasn’t made the jump to the new generation can build their games library for when they do move over. Combined with Xbox One’s backwards compatibility in November, all Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles will work on the new console too.
The backwards compatibility also means that Xbox One owners will not only have two Xbox One Games With Gold titles to claim every month, they will have access to the Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles as well.
This month Xbox One owners can get So Many Me, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition. Xbox 360 owners can get Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light.
Starting today, Xbox 360 owners can claim So Many Me, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, How to Survive: Storm Warning Edition. Come November, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners could claim all five games.
