Mojang has announced that its card collecting strategy game Scrolls will be closing down.
Scrolls previously fell foul of a legal dispute with Bethesda and spent years in testing was a premium priced game with the ability to pay additional real world money for more cards.
Earlier this month the game received the Echoes update, this will be the last content update the game receives but the company has confirmed that balancing tweaks will continue if and when required. The game servers will continue to be available at least until the 1st July 2016 with all future proceeds going to keeping Scrolls online for as long as possible.
Scrolls is available from the Scrolls website and runs on Mac, PC and Tablets.
