Everyone has their own opinions on who won E3 based on what was shown and brand loyalty. However, Internet retail giant Amazon says that Microsoft won E3.
Well technically they didn’t, what they have is results based on pre-ordering behaviour coming out of E3. Microsoft topped the charts of pre-order uplifts following E3 with a 1005% increase in pre-orders for Forza Motorsport 6 closely followed by EA’s Star Wars Battlefront which saw an 857% increase in pre-orders. In terms of new games announced at E3, Microsoft topped the list again with Rare Replay and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition both of which are at a budget price point rather than the AAA full game price.
