A 15 year old called in three separate bomb threats against Susan Wagner High School in Staten Island, NY. According to law enforcement, the teen had carried out the hoaxes in an attempt to impress others he had met on Xbox Live.
The accused who could not be named due to his age was a student at the High School and instigated the series of events by emailing the Susan Wagner principal on Thursday, suggesting he empty out the school before it explodes. When police arrived to carry out a sweep, the teen emailed again taunting “Good job bringing the dogs. Check every class,”
After the school was given the all clear, the second threat was issued on Monday, when he sent another email: “Hey, congrats, man. You missed all four bombs. In (sic) blowing them up in 20 minutes.”
In the third event, a call was made saying “I’m gonna blow up this [expletive] school. Evacuate now,”
Three other schools, Concord High School in Concord, and Curtis and McKee high schools in St. George also received threats and were evacuated but it is unknown whether the suspect was involved in those instances according to police.
