Carmageddon Reincarnation, a return to pedestrian splattering death racing has gotten a release date, St George’s Day. Or for those not in the UK, 23rd April.
Stainless Games, the original company behind Carmageddon bought back the rights to the franchise and successfully Kickstarted Carmageddon Reincarnation where it surpassed the $400,000 goal and closed at $625,143.
The final version of the game includes a career mode which is built up of 16 chapters, each chapter has three or four events totaling 50. Also, there is of course multiplayer for up to eight players.
The event types in game are:
- Classic Carmageddon
- Car Crusher
- Fox ‘n’ Hounds
- Ped Chase
- Death Race
There is plenty of driving choice with 25 vehicles, one is exclusive to Kickstarter backers, and nine maps are available at launch.
