EA has released details of their Battlefield Hardline Premium plans for the up coming cops and robbers title. The Season Pass style offer that has graced Battlefield since Battlefield 3 allows you to pre-purchase DLC and other VIP rewards for use in game.
Battlefield Hardline’s Premium will set you back $49.99/£39.99 and covers you for the planned four expansion packs, each which new maps, modes, vehicles and story missions. You could purchase all the content individually but Premium will give you access to each piece of content two weeks before the non-Premium release.
The four expansions are announced as
- Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity – Make a name for yourself in the fast-paced, highly-destructible new maps scattered with crime jobs. ETA Summer 2015.
- Battlefield Hardline: Robbery – Take down the opposition head on and progress through key locations. ETA Summer 2015.
- Battlefield Hardline: Getaway – High-speed chases to give that feeling of committing the most Hollywood heist possible. ETA Autumn 2015.
- Battlefield Hardline: Betrayal – Who is the snitch? Are you the snitch? Well now is the time to find out and make them pay. ETA Winter early 2016.
Competitive play through a Premium-only tournament system will also be included, as well as the option for Legendary Status, which offers a prestige-style system akin to Call of Duty along with Masks that provide unique gameplay benefits tied to the theme of each mask and access to the Gun Bench, the bench provides the ability to visually customise weapons and track kills per weapon.
Premium purchases also give access to 12 Gold Battlepacks, briefcases filled with XP boosts, skins for weapons and weapon unlocks randomly selected when opening.
If you opt in, you will have access to exclusive in-game missions and double-XP events carried out during the games life.
Battlefield Hardline is available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the 17th March in North America, 19th March in Europe and 20th March in the UK.
