The crowd-funded title from Slightly Mad Studios, Project CARS has seen it’s release pushed back once again according to an announcement by publisher Bandai Namco.
The new release date for Europe is the 2nd April 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. This likely means 3rd April for the UK and potentially 31st March or 7th April for North America though neither of those two have been confirmed by the publisher at this time.
The racer was initially listed as releasing in November 2014 before being pushed back to mid-March 2015 with some sites like Amazon, GameStop and others still listing this March date.
Ian Bell, head of studio at Slightly Mad Studios commented on the delay
“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS”, said Ian Bell, Head of Studio at Slightly Mad Studios. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”
Project CARS boasts the largest track roster of any recent racing game, a huge variety of motorsports to play, a freeform and authentic career mode, world-class graphics and handling, dynamic time of day & weather, and a suite of community features
Project CARS will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and expected later in the year on Wii U.
