Blizzard has added a feature to aid those with colour blindness better enjoy the MMORPG giant, World of Warcraft.
Colour blindness affects one in 12 males and one in 200 females but very little is done to account for this number of people in most media let alone video games where differentiating between colours is sometimes the difference between game life and death.
The feature will appear in World of Warcraft update 6.1 which also includes text enhancements for helping to identify particular weapons.
Colour Blind Awareness founder Kathryn Albany-Ward told the BBC
Games generally do cause a lot of problems, and there are a lot of people in the gaming community putting pressure on the gaming firms to bring in colour-blind friendly modes.
