Electronic Arts has sent a PlayStation 4 package to a 10 year old Detroit Lions fan named Roman after it emerged on YouTube that he was cheated out of the prize by contest organisers at a Dallas Cowboys game.
The contest, a childhood classic of musical chairs sees Roman clearly win the final round only to be told it would be run again because he was a Detroit Lions fan as seen by his choice of jersey. Roman went on to lose the second round after the hostess grabbed him to prevent him winning a second time.
The hostess was of course playing the crowd as you can hear a number of boo’s after the clear win. When grabbing Roman to prevent him claiming the seat she can be heard saying “I’m sorry, I can’t have a Lion’s fan win all by himself.”
Electronic Arts, makers of Madden 15 saw the video and did right by Roman by sending him a PlayStation 4, Madden 15 and an autographed mini-helmet from Lions receiver Calvin Johnson.
