The BBC is to release a web based game which aims to teach children between the ages of 6 and 12 to code. Starting with the basics and working up to BOOLEAN logic the game aims to get more children into computer programming as part of the Make it Digital initiative.
The Doctor is voiced by current Doctor, Peter Capaldi and the story which stars a friendly Dalek, is written by Doctor Who series writer Phil Ford.
The coding challenges are linked to the curriculum and can be mapped against Key Stage 2 and 3 learning outcomes.
