Bayonetta 2 has been given an official release date of the 24th October where it will be available exclusively on the Wii U.
Platinum’s sequel to their “Non-stop climax action” (yes that is their own words) game comes in three versions;
- First Print Edition, which is limited to 15,300 copies and comes with boxed versions of both Bayonetta and the new entry in a specially designed case. It also includes an “Art of Bayonetta 2” book designed to resemble the game’s “The Hierarchy of Laguna” tome.
- Special Edition, which includes both the original and new game, but without any of the extras.
- Solus Edition, which is basically just Bayonetta 2 in a box.
Bayonetta 2 and the original will also launch on the Wii U’s eShop at the same time as it becomes available at retail. Nintendo will also offer a discount on one of the games for those who chose to buy both via the eShop.
