Previously it was announced shortly after the reveal of Disney Infinity 2.0 that the Xbox 360 Disney Infinity 1.0 portal would not be compatible for the Xbox One version of Disney Infinity 2.0. This added some fuel to the console wars as it was known the PlayStation 3 portal would work on the PlayStation 4.
However, as more announcements about release dates and playsets come out the topic turned to the Xbox portal again with Twitter user @InDisGeoff asking the Disney Infinity team whether the Xbox 360 portal would work on Xbox One.
@InDisGeoff Yes, you’ll be able to use your Xbox 360 Disney Infinity Base on your Xbox One for the 2.0 edition of Disney Infinity!
