Electronic Arts may have been one of the favourites to take the Consumerist Golden Poo award for Worst Company in America 2014 for a third year running, however it wasn’t to be as EA was knocked out of contention in the first round which saw Time Warner Cable proceed through the bracket.
At the end of voting the results looked like this:
- Time Warner Cable – 51.2%
- EA – 48.8%
The Consumerist suggested that Battlefield 4 and Titanfall launches (even though for this gamer and friends Titanfall launch on both PC and Xbox One were pretty uneventful with no troubles getting into game) could have catapulted EA into the lead but was snatched by Time Warner Cable for reasons including the potential merger with Comcast who is also in the running for the award this year.
Other results at the end of todays voting were Ticketmaster who won against Aenta and American Airlines took the bracket from Lululemon.
Check out more details over at The Consumerist where they also have the tournament results as of the end of Day 4.
