Microsoft has announced that they are to cut the price of the Xbox One in the UK to come in line with PlayStation 4 which is currently out selling the Microsoft platform at around 2 to 1. The console, currently priced at £429, with a game, will drop to £399 on Friday 28th February and will include Titanfall in the bundle. Although, as Titanfall isn’t released in the UK until 14th March, gamers buying the discounted bundle before that date will need to wait until the game release to play.
Harvey Eagle, Xbox’s marketing director in the UK said
The reason we’re doing this is that we’re committed to giving gamers the best value that we can, we’re only a few months into a generation of consoles that are going to last for many many years to come, and now just feels like the right time to make the adjustment on the price.
