With the upcoming AMD’s A-series APUs, PC gamers will be able to use some of the custom tech being used in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. AMD’s next-generation APUs will leverage on-die graphics processing alongside the PC’s discrete GPU for a substantial performance increase.
The video features a Tron style battle between processor-taxing monsters and AMD’s Cores. It was produced by DigicPictures, the studio behind the rendered trailers for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Halo 4, and Mass Effect 3.
On the product page AMD delve deeper into the tech behind the new cards including benchmark tests for the top end A10-6800K which sports a 4.4GHz chip.
AMD have promised more details around the A Series range as we approach E3 which starts on June 11th.
